Fighting sleep

My baby is 9 weeks and she HATES sleep.

She will fight sleep all day long and will try to stay awake for the entire day. We have tried everything - pram, carrier, white noise, rocking, dark room, contact naps, naps in cot etc.

At night she will go down initially around 10 but then wake for a night feed at 2am, at which point it starts again. So I have to get up at 2 for the day. I am losing my mind and I’m so so tired.

I know how important sleep is for babies - I feel like I’ve tried everything there is to try! Please help.

My baby also sleeps very little, she is very sleepy and cries very loudly. After I sent the neonatologist home, I realized I had put the baby to sleep the wrong way. My doctor taught me a few different soothing techniques like gentle rocking, rocking, or using a pacifier. Some babies feel comfortable being held or gently picked up, while others may enjoy a gentle back rub or the use of a soothing sound machine dinosaur game
