16 month old started waking every hour -why?

I seem to have tried everything… calpol, warmer clothes, cooler room, more food before bed, less food, more cuddles… she’s been waking every hour for the last 6 weeks. Her daytime sleep is 1.5/2hours and sleep 7 until 7. What else can I do? She wakes up crying every time. Most of the time she cries until I come and give her a cuddle.

Could be teeth maybe try nurofen instead?

Could also just be the attachment phase. They do go through one around that time.

Definitely always go to your child if they are crying! They want reassurance and comfort :)

Hi @SpringTime2023 sorry you’re in the same boat! I suppose it was sleep regression 🙈 she’s just over two now and still a rubbish sleeper but usually sleeps for 6/7 hours at the start of the night. Her sleep only got better around her first birthday 🙈 nurofen didn’t help, neither did calpol! Having lots of sleep during the day seems to make her night sleep better. Hope your LO gives you more rest soon!
