My DS is 22 months and since Saturday really he had a bad night was up most of it crying just did not want to sleep, of course I checked for obvious signs of ilness, nothing!
Sunday he slept 2 hours (nap) come to bedtime and he cries makes himself sick and gets totally hysterical 😭
he did the same last night, I think he slept 3hours. I took him out today to run around and play, he fell asleep in the car an hour.
he has tea at 5pm. Bath at 7, bed at 7:30.
he’s vomited again, he’s hysterical 😩 I don’t know what to do. He’s tired, but he jumps up and down in his cot, throws everything out of it. Comfort, bottle, chokes himself on his cot bars so he coughs a lot.

Poor babe. I’d do whatever it takes to get and keep him calm, until he nods off. Cuddle him in your bed? Audiobook? Restart bedtime from the bath onwards?

Honestly nothing calms him, unless I pick him up😒 the minute I put him back down he’s hysterical again. I’ve tried everything x

Don’t despair this time will pass. Keep to routine
as this will help. We did the controlled crying, where you comfort them by stroking her head and talking softly, then leave few minutes, then come back - stroke head and comfort, then leave a few minutes … eventually this worked. It was allowing our dd to self soothe whilst knowing I was always on hand. We had a few days of tough before things got better really quickly.
