Currently up with 8month old who I think is over tired naps were awful yesterday just wouldn't give in were now approaching the 2 hour mark. Anyone else up?

Was up at 1am with my toddler who went back to sleep straight away, but I'm still awake 2 hours later, currently 35 weeks pregnant and the baby is going nuts in my belly and I can't get back to sleep with it

I'm awake here. 8 year old started vomiting at 11pm so I was sat with him, emptying the bowl as needed. 18 month old then decide about 20 mins ago she wanted a feed so I have pulled husband out of bed to sit with DS8. Once baby is back in her cot I will go back to son duties. Little one had this on Saturday night so I am waiting for my turn! sigh

I am, in the cycle of getting DD (3 months) to sleep in her crib and not on me. Waiting for the next deep sleep to try again - juts got 20 mins which is a record for tonight!

My 3 week old has been sleeping for the last hour IN the crib. This rarely happens. I struggle to put him into the crib, usually wants to stay on me
Why I cant sleep right now will be the death of me !!!!

DH has just told me he now has an upset stomach... Bottom end... And I have started feeling sick. Not sure if it's due to having to clear the sick bowl for the 8th time tonight, or because it has now caught me. I have way too much on at work this week for this!

Up watching the security camera footage that alerted me that my 87 yo dad is sitting in the living room rather than asleep in his bed where the carers left him and wondering if I should drive down and put him back in bed.

Wide awake. Sigh…

Peri menopause so usually wake around this time. However currently in Center Parcs (day 1) and did so much today that we were all wiped at bedtime. Thought I’d crash out till morning. Alas, no.
So here I am, wide awake in a random lodge, scrolling mumsnet!

Much love going out to all the mamas who are up with teenies or elderly parents. You’ve got this ❤️

Doh! DH and I have both just been sick... It has got us too! As a household we are all generally very well people but since having covid at start of summer we have also had hand, foot and mouth, and now this! Gross!

Been awake since 12.55, husband and 2 year old fast asleep. Cannot get back to sleep! At least there's mumsnet to know I'm not alone!!

I’m up. 6 month dd2 had been awake half hour so far, had a bottle but refusing sleep. She only napped twice yesterday half an hour each. Was asleep since about 9pm until 3.30am. She’s now just wiggling all over my bed and refusing to go back down. Hopefully she’ll go soon as I need to be up at 7.30 with dd1 for school.

Dh thinks he has caught covid from his flight on Sunday so we ended up in bed by 8pm.

The DC are sleeping beautifully and even DP is snoring more quietly than usual. But hey, it's an important day at work tomorrow so I might as well lie here sleepless all night for no reason, right?

I’ve always had insomnia on and off and I do shifts so my sleep can be erratic but I’ve started waking around 3:30 really warm some nights and then can’t get to sleep again. Had a hell of a two days at work too. So really could do with sleep.

I think it’s another peri symptom tbh.

My breastfeeding ds woke me up and I then had to run for a pee. That was 2 hours ago and all I've done since is take lots of Rennies and try and fail to make myself burp. I can't get back to sleep with trapped wind. Every bloody night this happens grrrr

Husband with a cough. I'm fucking raging, he knows that once I'm awake that's it and I'm up for the day, but he lay there coughing and thrashing about rather than go into the spare room.
I'm at work tomorrow too, he's not.
