Is there an 8 month sleek regression? DD used to be able to self-settle for maybe a month or so from 6 months to 7 months. She stopped being able to do it but could be settled for sleep really easily just by cuddling her and would only wake up for one feed in the night.
For the last week or so, following a cold (or perhaps Covid), she wakes increasingly frequently at night and takes at least an hour to get down each time. She’ll wake up screaming, will fall asleep pretty much immediately on being picked up, but will scream when put down - even though she’s deeply asleep. She’ll then immediately fall back asleep she picked up again!
If any of you experienced an 8 month sleep regression, did it sort itself out (and if so, how long did it take?!) or did you need to fo something to “fix” it?
