Hi all! So my one year olds sleep is all over the place just wondered if anyone had any tips- it’s not so much bedtimes- he goes off to sleep but then he tends to fuss/cry in his sleep every hour or so- as if he is not comfortable- he tosses and turns and then breaks out in a cry (with his eyes closed) and doesn’t settle unless he is rocked again! Any tips?? ( he isn’t hungry as has a feed just before and during the night too)

I’m going through the same with my 1 year old!

no tips but just to let you know you aren’t the only one - if you were like me then I expected a 12 hour stunt by this age!

I’ve tried everything but nothing has really seemed to work. If you have any magical tips then please let me know 😂

have you tried any sleep training?

Ohh! No, no sleep training yet! Do you use a white noise machine? Feel like that wouldn’t be enough for us as I’m constantly humming anyway haha

Yes I use the dream egg - it’s really good and I find it helpful.

i did try the ferber sleep training which is controlled trying. It’s not to everyone’s taste and is difficult at their age now however it did work for a while.

I personally struggled to stick to it and wasn’t consistent enough but a few people that I know who have stuck to it are getting a lot more sleep than me!
