My little boy has just started sleeping much better after about a month of rubbish sleep (up every hour - which i’m hoping was the regression) but now he will do 6-8 hours pretty much uninterrupted however what’s causing issues now either in the second part of the night or during the first stint around the 6 hour mark is he’s waking as he’s rolled onto his front. He’s a side/front sleeper now he can roll as he finds it more comfy and that’s fine as i have an under mattress monitor so i’m not concerned but he will only tolerate so long on his front so then i flip him back and he will sleep for 30/45 mins before flipping to his front again then waking up crying! is there anything i can do about this as it’s driving me crazy as i can’t seem to stop him rolling but he just wakes up as he can’t get comfy i assume

i’ll just add he sleeps on his side/front for the majority of the 6-8 hour stretch too so why does he then wake up crying every hour from rolling onto his front? a usual routine is 7-1/3 ish then i’ll feed him at his first waking bit then after that it’s every hour until 6am woken by crying on his front! which isn’t so bad if he sleeps until 3am but if it’s 1am that means 5 wake ups before morning! i don’t mind the wake ups as anything is better than the 11/12 we had but i just don’t know how to stop the rolling from interrupting his sleep since he doesn’t mind it for the first part of the night but then hates it after like 6-8 hours but won’t stop rolling onto his front

I have the same issue.... It's infuriating! Someone said to me that they just have to grow out of it which is tedious.

yeah that’s the answer i thought i was going to get which is so annoying🤣 i guess it’s just a phase i just don’t understand why he’s happy to do 6-8 hours on his side/front but after that it’s like he won’t tolerate it but then he’s flipping himself onto his front i’m like just stop doing it then🤣 does my head in! maybe will help once he can roll front to back maybe so he can get himself back into his back? not sure don’t feel like he would have the common sense to do that anyway even if he could since he doesn’t have the common sense to stop rolling onto his front in the first place🤣🤦🏼‍♀️
