5-6am poo help!!!

My 14mo DS has been pooping between 5-6am for nearly 6 weeks now. We’ve had absolutely no change in his diet, routine, nursery etc. They’re always foul smelling or loose. They wake him up - understandably - and he then struggles to resettle. We are at our wits end with the super early wake ups which then make him crankier in the day… he has a bottle of milk before bed but has had this since just before he turned 1 so it’s not a new thing.
Any tips and tricks or is this just a phase?

Is he on one nap or two? What’s your routine - when does he go to bed and when does he nap?It might be that he’s waking up anyway and the poo is a red herring.

Currently in a bit of a transition - he naps once at nursery, so that’s 4 days a week. The other 3 days are sometimes 1 sometimes 2 naps. Never more than 2.5 hours total, I have to cap his sleep else he could sleep all day.
Bedtime is usually 7-7.30pm and last nap is done by 3pm if he has 2, 2.30pm if he has 1.
