Love to dream swaddle at 12 weeks?

My baby hated being swaddled at the beginning so I never bothered with it but recently she’s been waking herself up hitting her self in the face and kicking her legs. I have heard great things about the love to dream swaddle but is it too late to introduce and will she hate it when she hated traditional swaddling? I don’t want to waste my money if she won’t use it?

Never heard of a dream swaddle sorry. Just didn't wana read and leave you unanswered! 🙈

The leg kicking is in preparation for crawling I read on another site! Dunno how true that is. A sleep bag helped slightly with this for us. Dunno what you can do about the arms

They are really good but you can't swaddle when they start rolling. Which given she is 12 weeks probably isn't that far off so you might be wasting your money. You then have to teach them to sleep without it!

I used them and loved them. Quite expensive you can pick up cheaper on Vinted / marketplace.

i actually bought the transition ones so depending on it baby is rolling or close to, you can remove the arm bits and their arms are out. We used until about 6 months and now just in a normal sleeping bag. We never did traditional swaddling just used those from the beginning. I tried without initially and the reflex was waking him every 15 minutes so they saved us

I was researching this myself after my little one's sleep has got worse this week at seven weeks - but I believe the advice is not to introduce a swaddle between 2-3 months ie the highest SIDS risk time. Something about baby not being be used to it and being unable to wake from deep sleep in it. www.babycentre.co.uk/a125/swaddling-what-are-the-risks-and-benefits
