Does day sleep always affect nights?

Curious... I have a shit napper but okay night sleeper. So Is overtired ness a thing? The amount of threads I see on here on catnappers surely has to mean that either everyone has a baby that's up all night or that day sleep doesn't impact night sleep (unless of course they sleep too much!)

They’re all different. Some of them can have a nap in the day and sleep all day, some of them just need the night sleep and will be fine all day, some of them like mine like to sleep for a few hours at night, party for a few hours between mindnight and 3 am then get up when she feels like it and be cranky by 4 o’clock 🙄
