Tell me your bedtime routines with two, especially if you haven't "sleep trained"

Hi!

I'm struggling with bedtime with both kids and would love to hear your routines, especially if you haven't sleep trained.

Our struggle goes like this:
We have a 4 year old daughter and an almost 2 year old son. We have always cuddled our eldest daughter to sleep and I've always breastfed our youngest to sleep. My husband generally gets our daughter to bed while I do the little one.

But a couple of times a week I'm alone getting both kids to bed. I like that this means I get to do our daughter's bedtime which is nice because I miss her the other nights. I tend to just feed our toddler to sleep while reading our daughter a story but things have got tricky now he's no longer a baby. Now they wind each other up and keep each other awake, it's a nightmare!

Ideally I would get the little one to sleep first, so I can give our eldest my full attention. But our little one takes forever to fall asleep and our 4yo is always so tired because she doesn't nap and needs to go to bed earlier. Unfortunately I can't leave our toddler alone so that's out of the question.

I don't want to sleep train, but I don't know if there's another answer to this riddle!

What do you all do?

Hello! I have a 5 year old and a 2 year old, they go to bed at the same time. They were use to sharing a room, but now have their own.
Bed time is 7pm here, baths or showers at half 6. Then it's a group story, eldest goes in his bed with his torch and chosen book. Youngest in her cot (refuses go sleep in a bed) with a beaker of milk and a book. I then grab a shower and normally they're both asleep by the time I'm dry. Youngest is a toad though, tonight she'd stripped herself and her bed...some nights I win some I don't, but when they're asleep they stay asleep until the morning.
