In such a mess

Baby is just shy of 7 months. Has been held to sleep since birth. Always slept fairly well and settled fairly well.

the last month cot transfers have become a nightmare. Constantly waking taking several attempts. Naps are all 30-45 mins so I’m guessing she’s over tired.

current schedule is
wake 7am
nap 1 9.30
nap 2 12.30
nap 3 4pm
bedtime 8pm

sometimes we even have a fourth nap and a 9pm bedtime. It just all feels a mess.

this week I’ve been trying to put her in her cot drowsy but awake and pat and shh her to sleep but she goes ballistic and then becomes like hyper vigilant.

she’s been waking several times a night for dummy and always ends up Co sleeping by the end of the night. I feel at a breaking point.

does anyone have any words of wisdom? Or do I need to wait it out.

No advice really but exactly the same as you. I was up every hour last night. He still sleeps in next to me as he is small but I want to move him to his room but no point currently will spend most of my night in there otherwise!

im following similar window
Wake 7am
nap 9-10ish
wake 10-12.30
nap 12.30-1.30
wake 1.30-4
nap 4-5
bed 8.30ish

sometimes it work and I get 1 wake up around 2am for a feed then awake 5/6am for the day. Try leave him in crib but also goes mad

reading elsewhere im lead to believe that is the max on a 3 nap schedule and should go to a 2 nap. But I’m scared to do it yet just building up the courage. I don’t want to sleep train but last night in the middle
of the night I am adamant I will then change my mind in the day. Sending hugs! You’re not alone!
