Naps in cot for over 1 years old.

LO is 13 months and we've never had her in her cot for naps, we tried a few times at around 4-6 months and it wasn't good at all so since then she's been on the move in her pram, whilst it works twice a day for an hour each time now, I'm now wanting to progress to cot napping just mainly because 2-2.5 hours out in the middle of the day come rain or shine all in one go for another 2-3 years every single day gives me anxiety ha!
I tried this morning, left her in her clothing but dark bedroom and did what I normally do for her nap time (sing to her, shh shh then place in pram and go) but she was so confused bless her, understandably and clearly thought why am I in bed in the day 😅🙈 so now we're out in the pram again.
Not sure how to do this transition, I fear I've left it too late to get her in her cot for day naps.
At night, the routine is good, bath, body massage, bodysuit and sleep sack on, dark room then breastfed but she will put herself to sleep once in her cot within 10.
Please help x
