Extreme gas 5.5 month old

Hi all, I’m really desperate for any help or stories of this ending. I have a 5.5 month old who has always been gassy but for past month is waking every hour trying to pass wind/crying/ slamming legs down, squirming. I end up feeding a lot as it seems to calm but think then she’s probably getting more gas. I hold her upright a lot if the night. It’s impossible to burp her at night. She is breast fed - I have given up dairy and gluten. She is perfectly happy during the day but only does very short naps in the carrier. We’ve seen a lactation consultant, cranial, osteopath, she takes probiotics, gripe water, massage, had tongue tie revised. Im really struggling mentally with all of this and have a 3 yr old and partner who works away a lot. Dr suggested gaviscon or omezrepole but not sure these are right for this case. Have read so many awful side effects and don’t want to make it worse or constipate her.
She had signs of silent reflux Some say weaning will help but others say can mark it worse. Any advise or stories of hope would be so appreciated x

We are in a very similar situation - my DD is 6 months next week and for the last month has also been really struggling with trapped gas at night. She is bottle fed but has struggled with silent reflux.

DD was prescribed omeprazole when she was smaller but getting her to take it was a nightmare so stopped. We’ve tried gaviscon but this made no difference to the wind.

Sorry it’s not a story of hope but just to say we are in the same position. Only at night, feeding seems to calm DD down but I’m not sure it helps long term. We’ve gone from one wake a night o several and DD is so upset when it wakes her. The leg slamming is so noisy too!

Gosh it’s so hard! Are you going to start weaning? Can you keep me posted to see if it helps? Sending love. I’m beside myself, she’s so exhausted from not sleeping too.
someone suggested these: I’m going to try: https://www.healthpost.co.nz/schuessler-tissue-salts-combination-e-indigestion-mpce-p

Wabt to try and stay off prescription medication as not keen on the side effects or long term potential health problems.
