Should I wake my 3 month old?

Hi guys

I'm a first time mum here. I heard you should never wake a sleeping baby, just in case they are sleeping extra due to a growth spurt or for their development, unless they are losing weight or during the first few weeks. I just watched a video on YouTube of a 3 month old baby routine and she says she wakes her baby up herself after his naps. I know it's for a baby routine. I have alwwys avoided waking my baby up and let him sleep, he sleeps well at night only waking up once or twice a night and he is always very, very sleepy and it's never trouble getting him back to sleep. My question is, should I make a routine? He is sleeping right now and it's gone past 3 hours. Shall I still never wake up my sleeping baby?
