15 month old inconsolable at night

My 15 month old has been a fairly good sleeper for the past few months (we put her in her cot, sit with her for a few mins, and she goes to sleep until around 6am). But for the past week or so we've been having spells where she wakes up inconsolably screaming. Sometimes it's half an hour after bedtime, sometimes it's 2am. She's not calmed by us going in, or us picking her up, and calpol doesn't seem to make any difference so I don't think it's pain. Last night she was up from about 2:45-4:15. Not screaming the whole time, but a lot of the time, before finally drifting off to sleep on DH. And then he put her back in her cot without any problems and she stayed asleep until 7:30.

She's absolutely fine during the day, she's not unwell, she doesn't have these inconsolable periods.

Could it be teething?? She's got her front four teeth top and bottom - her bottom lateral incisors came in just over a week ago with no fuss. But could it be molars? Or would that also cause more upset during the day?

Is she too young for night terrors? I don't think it's separation anxiety since us being with her makes no difference. She's up now howling while DH is holding her trying to calm her. He brought her down to sit with us and that didn't help either.
