5 month old wakes screaming

My LO is 5 months old (23 weeks) & usually sleeps from 6/7pm until 5/6am, wakes for a bottle then sleeps til about 8ish (there is no way of keeping LO awake after this bottle they just fall back to sleep).

However, for the past 5 days, they've been waking histerically screaming at random points. Sometimes I can give their Dummy and they'll settle but other times that doesn't work. Last night I rocked them back to sleep, night before just soothed them and night before that ended up with a bottle as nothing else worked.

They only nap 2 x 30mins during the day and these are really fought. They only tend to sleep more if we're in the car which isn't ideal. So I'm thinking maybe over tired or night terrors maybe?

They've been teething for a long time so don't think this is the issue as I gave calpol before bed last night too just incase.

Has anyone got any ideas/tips?
Sorry for the long feed, just don't like hearing LO so upset and feeling helpless.

Just to add.. LO did do this but on a smaller level a few weeks ago and routine went back to normal so think they have passed the 4 month sleep regression..

My dd has been through periods of doing this too and I never got to the bottom of why. It could be night terrors/teething pain not sure

Does it last a while? It's awful to see them like it isn't it
