Hi wise mums! My 1 yo (13months) sleeps with me and usually she takes 2 naps a day (wake 6am, nap at 10.30 and then at 3.30, bed 7) but recently she started fighting her second nap and then come 6pm she will get second wind and it takes ages to get her to sleep. I usually boob her to sleep and it worked well. Now however she wants to get off the bed because she is over-active overtired and the only way she would sleep is after a massive cry. Today I won’t let her get off the bed so she wound herself up so much she ended throwing up.

what can I do to help her transition to one nap a day? What do you do when your little ones are over tired? I feel so cruel to have let her to cry like that today but all I did was just put her on the bed every time she got off and told her it’s sleep time 🤦🏻‍♀️

It frustrating when they won't go to bed. If she's taken a nap at 3:30 I doubt she's overtired? Is she not just very awake? How long are the naps?

I would cap the first nap and bring the second earlier. You probably don't want to second nap finishing later than 3, maybe even 2.
