10 month - crying around midnight

Hi all,

Our 10 month year old has started during the last month crying in the middle of the night. He settles down at 7:30 and is asleep by 8. We go to bed at 10:30pm. He will
ne asleep no issue, then comes midnight-1am and he has started awaking up, having a really sad cry, then he tries to settles then again cries 30 seconds later. He doesn’t want milk or anything. Not even a cuddle can soothe it. This then can go on for an hour- hour and half then he sleeps fine until morning. He doesn’t seem to have tears when crying, he fidgets and Leo’s eyes shut. He was previously an awful sleeper but that changed from 9 months. Just not sure why this could be happening or how to remedy it?

TIA!

Is he teething? This sounds just like my daughter. She's 11 months now, but from the end of 10 months she was doing pretty much the same. She'd go to bed at 7, sleep fine until around 1, then just constantly fuss and cry every few minutes. She's had one tooth pop up and I can see at least two more coming so I've put it down to this x
