napping for long time!

my dd has been asleep since 1.30 pm and it's now 4 oclock. She's 11 months old....She dosnt normally sleep for so long. is this normal? She has a cold! Should i wake her up?

I would but them I'm a horrid mummy who wants her kids still to go to bed at bedtime!!

I think when they are sick they need to sleep more b/c they are fighting something off. Let her sleep.

I agree with Nessamommy. Dd quite often slept more if she was unwell or teething. It seemed to be her way of dealing with pain.

Ds2 regularly sleeps that long in the afternoons, and is still happy to be put back in his cot about 7pm, even if he doesn't go straight off to sleep.
