4.5 month old terrible nights

My son has recently been through the sleep regression so we've been doing some gentle hands-on settling and he has now learned to link his sleep cycles in the day (yay!).

However, his night sleep has gotten horrific. He wakes around 7, naps 9-10, 12-2 and then 4-4.30. Final feed at 6 and in bed by 6.30. He's now waking around 9pm and we can't get him back down until 10.30-11, and then he's waking pretty much every 2.5-3 hours.

He's BF and can self settle for naps, so I don't understand where we're going wrong. We use exactly the same technique as we did in the day with some hands on shushing and patting. After a while I try feeding and he just uses me like a pacifier and doesn't feed, so it's not hunger related. Last night he only had one feed at 2am but we were up and down with him all night!

Well the sleep regression is not over!
This is part of it.
Personally I would wake him at 1.30pm rather than 2pm and then that way he could have this last nap at 3.30-4pm with a bedtime of 7pm

And the other thing to note is: just because you use a specific technique or follow a certain schedule..the baby may not play ball with it.
When I had my first child 4ywars ago I was following advice, reading books, using the wonder weeks apps etc and tbh it's all too much. Strip it right back, get to know your baby and do what works best for you both.:)

They sleep when they wanna sleep at that age. Not much advice, but it will be changed again in a week
