Why did everyone lie?

Hi guys,

I just want to know about why everyone lied about the saying “slept like a baby”?! Babies do NOT sleep and if they do then I need a refund.

my 9 month old is currently having 3 bottles a night and eating/drinking lots during the day. I go back to work next month and need some advice.

he was an amazing sleeper from newborn (I was v spoilt) and since he hit 6 months, he has regressed massively.

we have tried cosleeping, Ferber training, everything but nothing seems to work! He seems to be wanting just constant reassurance during the night and being rocked. I don’t think he necessarily wants to be in bed with me as I think he enjoys his own space.

i know all of his needs are met and I know I have also answered my own question as this is normal for babies BUT I just need some advice or people in the same boat as me to give me some motivation.

p.s why do people have more than one baby? This is so hard😂

thnx!!

I used a dummy with my two. They slept through the night from about 2 months, and would just pop their own dummy back in if they woke, then suck themselves back to sleep. The dummy fairy took them away with their agreement when they were about three.

My DC was same and then never slept for years. So many parents lie! My little Billy just got on with home schooling...no he didn't, I listened to the awful covid home schooling and they didn't. My little Billy does all his homework, and as above. He never gets detention, yes he does, they've all been in the same one. It never stops.

Could be multiple reasons why your baby is waking up could be hot due to the weather teething my baby's 12 months and still wakes up at least once during the night if not more although my baby wasnt having any night feeds at 9 months maybe your baba is going through a growth spurt not saying it's not normal but 3 feeds during the night is a lot try taking his sippy cup to bed and offering him sips of water of juice whatever you give your baby and wean him of a night feed or he might not even be waking up for food he might just want to be soothed
