my DD will be 2 next month. Other than being an early riser (4:45/5:30am) she's otherwise been a good sleeper and would fall asleep by herself in a cot in her own room without crying.

we went away last month and since then she won't fall asleep by herself and needs one of us in the room with her otherwise she's beside herself and it takes her an hour to get to sleep. She's also started waking at 1am and screaming the house down if we aren't in there with her. Over the past month we've tried the chair method by getting further and further away from the cot but it's a very small room and she just pops her head up when we tried walking out of the room and screams the house down. We've also tried letting her self settle when she wakes in the middle of the night but she has since learned to take her sleeping bag off and climbs out of the cot screaming her head off. She ended up walking down the hallway last night and we are at our wits end with the lack of sleep.

to top it all off, she still wakes at 5am despite being up from 11pm-2am last night.

it's been 3 weeks of this and it seems to only be getting worse. Any ideas on how to fix it? We have a 4yo DS as well and we don't want to wake him when she wakes so we usually whisk her downstairs as soon as she wakes at 5.

please help!! Usual bedtime is 7pm and she naps for 1.5hrs in the day but even this has gone to pot recently

When I say we went away, we went as a family and were all in one room!

Also tried getting her to sleep in our bed but she doesn't like that and wants to be in her cot with one of us in the room 🥴
