Regression or routine is off?

11 month old suddenly fighting naps. Was napping well then one day totally refused his afternoon nap. Since then, he’s fought at least one of his naps a day. Mainly just playing, chatting and climbing in his cot. After 45 mins, I normally go and assist the nap and he immediately falls asleep so he must be tired at that point. Is this just the 10-12 month sleep regression or is our routine off? I don’t know if it could be related, but he’s pretty close to walking.

7am: wake
10am: nap 1 (1-1.25 hours)
2.30pm: nap 2 (1 hour)
7.15pm: bedtime

Maybe he's ready to drop to one nap?

@SweetAndSourChick3n I did wonder if this is the start of that but he’s always been slow to drop naps previously so I don’t know if he’s already ready for 1 nap at 11 months when apparently the norm is 14-18 months 😬

Mine dropped to one nap at 10months right before he started walking. Naps now at 12pm until 2/230pm. It was an adjustment on my part but it works for us now. Try a few days will one nap and see how you get on. Good luck, sleep regressions are tough!

He is getting ready to drop to one nap. I would do either of these things:
OPTION A
7am: wake
10.30-12.30: nap 1 (2 hours)
3.30-4 nap 2 (30 mins on the go in pram or car)
7pm: bedtime

OPTION B
7am: wake
10-10.30: nap (30 mins on the go
in pram or car)
1-3: nap (2 hours)
7pm: bedtime

2 of mine dropped to one nap at around 11 months. Worth giving it a go for a couple of days to see if it makes a difference?

@Laura525 do you have any routine change recommendations?
