Should I wake my baby during the day?

My LO is 6 weeks old and currently struggling to get those longer stretches during the night. She is more than happy to sleep the long stretches during the day if she’s contact napping.
She’s a lovely feeder, taking anywhere between 3-6oz during the day at each feeding.
I’m a first time mum (if you couldn’t tell) and was wondering if it is worth waking her after 3-4 hours for feeds during the day to try and build up her calories for a longer sleep at night?
I’ve seen a lot about “never wake a sleeping baby” and my LO is well over birth weight so gaining isn’t an issue. But at this point, I’ll try anything to try and get her into some sort of a day/night “routine”😩

I would be waking her after 3-4 hours. That’s long time between feeds for a little baby.
She is old enough to start being gently encouraged to be awake more in the day and more asleep at night!

We had a terrible night last night where she was waking every 40 minutes to an hour, showing that she was hungry yet only taking 1-2oz at a time so I think this may be a good idea. Maybe getting her calories in during the day will help her be a little more settled at night.
Thank you for your help!☺️
