At night my 12 weeks baby moves to the side of the crib and pushes his face against the side wall of the crib (Tutti Bambini cozee). He has been doing it for weeks now, up until now he was pushing his forehead mostly, however recently he started to push his hole face and it scares me. I move him back into the middle of the crib but 5 min later he is back at the side of the crib. I keep checking throughout the night and he is breathing freely and from time to time he turns his head other direction which is reassuring but still scary.
Googling suggests it to be a common thing that babies do. So if your baby did it, is this something they grow out of at some point?
I am thinking if I should buy another crib that has mesh walls as our Tutti bambini has material at the level of his head. If this is a temporary thing that is supposed to finish soon I guess I could continue checking and moving him at night.
Thank you
