Early start help

Hello

I hope this doesn't sound too trivial and silly, it's something that's really bothering me and I wish I could change.

We've had 7am wake ups for a while now (12 months or so) but my 4YO & 2YO are now getting up at 5am (maybe it's the lighter mornings?).

I do not cope with early starts, at all. I'm not even alive. I can deal with 7am but really really don't do 5am ok.

How can I change myself to cope better? It ruins my day because I don't cope well. I wish I was different.

I've considered ice baths etc but not actioned anything. I mostly go to bed early, like 10pm ish but often earlier sometimes later. But never too late really.

Please help.

Very tired Mum x

I get up early by choice but to get rid of my initial deadness I have a shower, drink a pint of iced water and use an ice roller on my face.
I also find that if sit around doing nothing that I don’t fully wake up for hours so I like to get busy first thing.

Have they got black out blinds?
