Hi fellow mum,
Looking for a bit of advice. My little boy turned 1 and has recently started going through the lovely 12 month sleep regression.
He’s never been a great napper, but has been good at night sleeping through from 7pm - 6am ish (although decided 5am is the new wake up time lately). Nighttime was normally fine (after we did some sleep training) and he’d either put himself to sleep pretty quickly with no fuss or cry for a min and then fall asleep.
From my research it says it’s really important to remain consistent and not change up the routine, but my issue is that within 1 minute of leaving the room, he will have cried so hard he projectile vomits everywhere. I don’t know what to do without rocking him to sleep and reverting to old habits (which were hard to break). I’ve tried to put him down after comforting, changing and cleaning him, but he just goes into hysteria and I can’t leave him. He’s not sick, we’ve given him stuff in case it was teething too.
He currently has dinner at 5pm and has a bottle around 6.15pm, I will try to either give the bottle earlier or perhaps cut it out?
Not sure if anyone has experienced this or can offer any help x
