This is not a major issue at all. More wondering if I'm not alone with it .
I have a daughter who is two next month
She still takes a 1-1.5 hour nap at home in her cot most days at 12.30pm
Sleeps mostly ok ish at night time.
8.30-7 ish.
But she won't sleep for her nap well outside of her cot in the dark and I'm fed up of it as without it her nights are more disturbed and then she's horrid the next day to .
She will easily fall asleep in a push chair but will wake up after exactly 30 mins or 40 mins at an absolute Push. Despite keeping the push chair moving. Have tried a snooze shade and white noise and she still won't stay asleep in it despite nodding off easily in one
She's the same in a car to or if she falls asleep on the sofa. 30 or 40 mins tops.
Even indoors in a push chair in the dark she wakes after 30 mins.
She can only go past 40 mins for a nap if in her cot with white noise.
She's been like this since 3-4 months old.
I try 2 days a week to be flexible as I have an older daughter to but she's just never got the hang of it and just pings awake after one sleep cycle.
I had hoped she'd out grow it 🤣
Going away next month and slightly dreading the fact she won't do her usual nap.
