Hi,
I have a almost one year old ds, who has recently discovered that he can stand up in his cot. Unfortunately this has been very disruptive to his sleeping as he then refuses to sit/lie back down unless I do it, and then he stands up again. I tried a new method today where I would leave him to stand and let him work it out himself. He got very worked up and then fell, banging his head quite hard. What I'm wondering is 1) does anyone have any help or advice for this? And 2) is it too soon to convert the cot into a cot bed and add a little barrier to stop him falling out? I would then put a gate at the door so he couldn't get out of his room. Any help much appreciated. Thanks!!
