We’ve just transitioned my LO from 3 > 2 naps (she’s a few days shy of 8 months) and it seems to have stopped her early morning wakings (usually 5 am on the dot) and now she wakes between 6-6:30 (not amazing but I’ll happily take it).
However, she seems to be doing better with an earlier bedtime of around 6pm. Initially this was just how it worked with her wake windows, but when we’ve put her down later she wakes earlier.
She’s having a 30-45 min nap in the morning and then 1:15-1:30 in the afternoon which isn’t much daytime sleep but she’s happy and is doing 12 hours on a good night.
is there any reason why we can’t keep bedtime at 6pm? Aside from the fact in the summer we would have to be pretty antisocial to be home in time for bedtime routine etc.
