10mo standing in crib and not settling!

Is there anything I can do to help my 10mo DS to settle better? He’s always been a pretty good sleeper and always gone down easily, resettled easily after a feed etc.
He started cruising about 2 weeks ago so he is always standing crawling or cruising when he’s awake. Naps are fine during the day and he goes down instantly.
He has also started waking between 5-6am and taking a long time to resettle/not resettling at all.
What is the best approach - are they linked? I don’t know if I’m disturbing things further by going in and encouraging him to lie down.

My son is 9 months and a little similar. I put him in those baby sleeping bags and he can’t get up. He just kneels at most. But maybe an older baby could stand. I also tuck him in super tight

It’s a developmental stage and completely normal for them to use all their new skills. It’s a tiring phase but it will pass and change into another one.
just be kind and loving and help him resettle. Though after 5am he may not do and you may need to bring him in with you for a longer sleep, or just accept your fate and get up
