Do you sleep when the baby sleeps or one of you keeps an eye open?

Trust me, you're that knackered that you both sleep.

That said, you'll have an ear open, subconsciously.

Sleep when the baby sleeps. In my experience once you become a mother you will wake at the slightest noise anyway so don't worry about not hearing the baby.
