3 year old early starts

My (just) 3 year old has generally been a good sleeper and her wake times for a while have been between 6-7, usually after 6.30am.
She's recently had a cough and a bit of a sickness bug which disrupted her sleep and now she is up at 5am.
We've moved her into her toddler bed(she was still in her cot before) which has had no impact.

Room is blacked out, she's got white noise on- not sure what else to try!

Any ideas /tips?

At 3 are you using a gro clock? I explained to my dd at that age if she was awake she could play in her room but wasn't allowed to come and wake anyone else up until the sun was out on her clock and she had to stay in her room (which was easy as we had a staidgate on her door

No- although we do have one in my 6 year old room so could use it.

She's currently (at 7am) back asleep in bed with my husband as I think shes probably still getting over this illness, but it's not a habit I want to get into

We've had exactly the same issue for 3.5 weeks now. Used a gro clock for the first time last night... He was up at 11:30pm, then 4:40am but explained both times about the clock, then was up at 5:45 (we set the clock for 5:30 to ease him into it). Amazing! He was so proud of himself too! Hoping to adjust the clock back gradually.

I'm also thinking of moving her back into her cot- maybe she wasn't ready for the bed
