Length of nighttime sleep and early wakings!

My 9 month old son has been a good sleeper of late, we do both naps of around 1h15-1h30 in his cot morning and afternoon. His nap totals can be 1.5-3 hours depending on whether we are at home or out and about. On a good day he can stay awake 3h45 between first and second nap! I don’t let him sleep later than 4pm; Bedtime normally 7.30pm ish.

He normally used to do 11-12h of unbroken sleep overnight (unless sick or something). The last week he’s been waking at 5.45-6.15am, he’s only managing 10h maximum of overnight sleep. He will often wake at 5.45, we will either get up with him or feed him and then go back to sleep (i know i shouldn’t need to feed overnight at this age but he won’t currently resettle without a bottle) - so I feel like he needs more sleep than the 10 hours!

Also he’s been on 2 naps for around a month. Today he woke up at 5.45am, napped 9.15-10.30am and has completely passed out snoring at 1.30pm! It’s now past 4pm and I’m worried about fitting another nap in before bed again. Is this normal, is he just overtired?

I have no idea what to do to extend this overnight sleep, his naps haven’t been super long so I’m not sure what next steps to take? I’ve heard that putting them to bed earlier can help but it feels counterintuitive?
