Naps!

So my LO is nearly 7 months. She has 3 naps a day and is starting to connect sleep cycles so these are sometimes longer than 30-45 minutes. - not very often though.

Her first two naps she wakes herself usually after one sleep cycles - the maximum she has is 1hr 15 for the lunchtime nap. I know this normal and not after advice really for these but come the third nap - the one that should be the shortest she will sleep for ages - I have to wake her up after 45 minutes as don't want her having too long before bed and causing more sleep problems at night than we already have 🤦‍♀️ my question is any suggestions on how to shift this pattern and move it to the earlier naps? Or am I asking too much and she will do what she will do and it's the end of the day so naturally she will be more tired than the start and middle?

Have you thought about dropping the final nap? My LO is 6.5 months and last week we dropped the final nap, but it’s meant that he fairly consistently does a long post lunch nap! We were having problems getting him to sleep at night as I think he was sleeping too late in the day and it has been easier getting him down since

I hadn't actually! I might give that a go - thank you!
