Hi

I currently hold my daughter to sleep still (don't rock or pat etc) and only hold her for about 5mins and transfer into cot. Any tips on getting her to self settle to sleep? She is fine doing it if wake in the night and also self settles fine if on our bef but when we place her in cot awake she gets hysterical

thanks

Hi OP
i am afraid I don’t have any advice but am following as am in a similar situation with my DD 12 months, although I do rock to sleep. I wish I’d tried harder to sort this out before she could pull herself up in the cot as she just stands up hysterically crying as soon as I put her down and won’t lie back down. Any advice other posters have would be great.
