DD not sleeping

My 4 year old DD has always been a really good sleeper, however she has recently been really unsettled at bed time and is waking multiple times a night saying shes not comfortable.

She goes to bed around 7pm and shes been really agitated at bedtime for the last month and I am at a loss as to what has caused it. The other night I went up to check on her at around 11pm and she was just writhing around. I asked her what was wrong and she just said she felt uncomfortable, when I asked her in what way she said she doesnt know. I tried giving her calpol to no avail. She has been like this every night since.

I am planning on taking her to the doctors anyway, but if anyone else has any ideas about what is causing this or has experienced similar, I'd be grateful x

I'm no expert as mine is still two. But your description of your daughter reminded me of what I'm like if I can't get to sleep. I just keep moving to new positions and can never seem to get comfortable.

It happens to me if I been out at night and come home late but my brain is still wired, or of I've tried to go to bed early before I'm properly tired.

Is there a chance your daughter might just need to go to bed a bit later?
