Sleep training 18 month old

Looking for any advice with sleep training an 18 month old especially if they share a room with their toddler sibling.

He was always a great sleeper until shortly after turning 1.

He goes down ok but wakes in the night usually around 11, or 3 if we're lucky and he just won't settle back down in his cot.

We started brining him in to bed with us as he wakes his sister/we both work full time and need sleep.

This is really starting to effect our relationship, we have very interrupted sleep so exhausted and achy.

No advice really but my 18mo was also a good sleeper until he turned 1. It’s gotten progressively worse since then. We do leave him unless he’s hysterical but it makes no difference so just flagging I guess that even if you sleep train it may not help.

I’m hoping time will…

Yeah, looking back we had this with our 1st around this age.

We have made a pact to not bring him in to our bed no matter what.

He woke twice last night but for short periods so hoping he gets used to it and it's one of their many, many phases.

Fingers crossed, ours has been going on about 5 months now. But every night is different, or he does the same thing for a few nights in a row then changes again.

I’m hoping teething, nap transition and development are all affecting it, as this means it will end at some point!!
