What age did you stop using them? My DS is 16 months and I'm just wondering should I try him with a quilt in the summer months when it's a bit warmer or should I just leave him in his sleep bags? He loves them, he's worn them since he was 3 weeks and even is happy sitting on our bed in the mornings in his, wonder should I not try to fix something that's not broken Grin

Ds was 2½ when he switched to a duvet
Dd was 2

About 18 months, I had just sized up and during his nighttime gymnastics he managed to tear it down the zip..we moved him onto a duvet immediately.. took him a little while for him to get used to a pillow, and even now (nearly 3), he prefers to sleep with it to the side rather than under his head

Eldest got her big girl bedding for her second birthday, partly because I'd had her in the bags with feet (stepees?) and she was outgrowing them. They were a good transition thing though, feet out but still the comfort of a bag.

The first summer after they turned 1 so 13 months for DD, 16 months for DS. If you give them a light duvet there’s no guarantee they’ll stay under it initially so it’s definitely easiest to time it with a heatwave!
