Kind of joking, kind of not!
Fed up of being kicked out of bed EVERY SINGLE NIGHT and ending up in the spare room.
DD6 and DS2 inevitably appear at some time between 1am-3am and want to get in with us. Usually DS2 first. He is a fidget, so I just think we all get more sleep if he stays in the bed with DH and I move to the spare room (double bed). Then, at some point shortly after my DD6 will appear to get in with me. This has been going on for months and I have had enough of it.
The kids share a room and if we attempt to take them back to their own bed, they cry/ kick up a fuss and wake up the other one. Then there is just a lot of crying and battling in the middle of the night, so it just seems easier to let them get in with us.
For context, our third bedroom is also DH's office (he works from home) and is used by my mum a couple of times a week, when she stays to help with childcare. Separating the kids into their own rooms isn't really an option right now... and they don't want to anyway.
How can we break this cycle? Any suggestions welcome!!
