My daughter is 20 months and has never been the best sleeper but recently has become even more of a nightmare to put to bed than she ever was before
We always have to stay with her until she falls asleep which we don't mind but recently it's been taking 2+ hours for her to fall asleep.
I've tried changing the times of her naps, cutting them short etc, for example today I got her up earlier, she napped from 11:30am to just after 1pm and am currently in the process of trying to get her to sleep but she just will do anything to keep herself awake (blow raspberries, run her hands along the cot bars etc)
Me and her dad are therefore getting literally no evening together as one of us is in her room all evening!
Do I just drop the nap completely and see if it makes a difference? She never will fight the nap which is making me think she still needs it?
