How long did yours last? We are up every 1-2 hours and it’s so hard! My first never went through it.

Did it just end one day or did you do things to encourage it? She goes down to sleep awake and on her own…

At the time I thought ours never ended, but it was actually his reflux that got worse again around the same time that was messing his sleep up as well. The worst of the sleep regression was over in about 4-6 weeks probably. He never went back to sleeping well though, and at 9 months now still wakes a few times a night. It’s just been a regression after a regression with a handful of good nights in between! Currently it’s the worst it’s been as well, but that’s actually apparently really common.

How did you know it was reflux? Mine spits up ALL day and has seemed super fussy recently. It never used to bother her but wondering if it is reflux…

He had it when he was younger and was on infant Gaviscon for it. At around 3 months old he didn’t need it anymore, until around 5.5 months. The wake ups just seemed more to do with him being in discomfort than waking between sleep cycles - he would wake really very frequently, like 30-45 minutes pretty much all night until after 3am which is when he would then do his longest stretch. When I picked him up he would fall right back to sleep as soon as his head hit my shoulder, but wake up again instantly when put down on his back. I could hear him burp and swallow when I held him. We put him back on Gaviscon which helped immediately and he only woke ONCE that first night, but as we’d already started solids, three days later he started having tummy ache (it never constipated him as a newborn, but with solids in the mix it was too much) and that then woke him as much as the reflux used to. When he then went on Omeprazole everything got so much better!
