Naptime Temper Help!

Hi everyone, my little boy is 4 months old and sleeps well in his own bed at night and is fairly easy to put down for the night. Daytime napping is a totally different ballgame. He has a short nap in the morning about 9.30 and a longer one about 1. He rubs his eyes or yawns so I know he is tired but instead of dropping off he totally loses it when I try and get him to sleep, it's a real battle but eventually he gives in and falls asleep it's stressful. Any advice to get him to nap without losing his temper? Also during the day he mostly sleeps on me, in his pram or in the car. He falls asleep naturally in the pram or car. If I put him in his bed to nap it's half an hour max and then he's awake again. Any advice welcome xx

That's just how some babies express themselves as a form of self-soothing - it may sound like crying /protests, but it's how they settle to sleep.

Even now at almost 9 months occasionally my DC will give angry shouts for a few mins before dropping to sleep suddenly.
