3 year old still waking at night

My (just turned) 3 year old is still waking up every single night. I can't remember the last time she slept through.

She wakes up crying every single night and wants me to come in bed with her or she wants to come in with us.

I'm not sure what to do. She's a very sensitive, tearful girl and will cry her eyes out if we told her she has to stay in her room and we leave or keep putting her back in bed etc.

Something we should've sorted out when she was younger but here we are!!

Any tips?

I don’t know many kids who sleep all night sorry! My 5 year old wakes every night and often my 7 year old does too

Oh god. Don't tell me that haha.

My youngest slept from around 6 months and I (stupidly) assumed my 2nd would too. How wrong was I!!

I started a thread a few weeks back about my 3.5 year old. He’d been sleeping brilliantly until about 4 weeks after we took the sides off his bed. He then started coming into our room most nights but I could walk him back to bed. Over Christmas he had a nightmare and was poorly and outright refused to go back to his room. I tried the whole walking him back to bed (as well as all the rewards charts, talking about it etc), no eye contact or talking and it took 3-4 hours which I did for 3 nights. It showed no signs of improving so since then we’ve brought his mattress into our room (as none of us sleep if he’s in our bed) once he wakes around 1am so we can all get rest. Accepted it’s just how it is and that it won’t be forever but it’s just how we’re able to survive for the time being. Could you do something similar?

My 3yo is breaking me. I haven’t had a full night sleep for months. She’s been waking up struggling with colds etc but now it has become a habit (hence being on here at 4am). I’m getting increasingly tired and ratty and just don’t know how to fix it.

Sleep I wish...got a almost 3 and twin 1 year olds and I can say we've yet to have even half a nights sleep at once. Although last night and tonight we decided to try tablet on with low soothing music all night and first night 2 out of the 3 slept all night and night 2 now 3 have slept which is a miracle so here's hoping it continues to work

Bribery was the only thing that worked for us, something that DS really wanted in exchange for staying in bed all night. When he got that we gradually reduced the rewards to a sticker chart. At 5 he is now pretty good.
