Tommee Tippee Dream maker

After being an amazing sleeper for most of her life, a few weeks ago my 10mo old started waking up a lot during the night crying and needing to be comforted. She goes back to sleep really quickly but unfortunately I don't so I've been coping with sleep deprivation since.

Anyway, my husband bought the tommee tippee dream maker that has pink noise and a glowing light that comes on when she cries.
First night using it last night and she slept mostly all the way through. Woke up a couple of times and the light came on and she self soothed and went back to sleep.

It seems too good to be true so I wondered if anyone else had used one and if it worked for them?

Have got it on again tonight so we will see if it was a fluke :)

Used it from birth with 1 year old, she is an absolutely awful sleeper but much worse without it and won't go to sleep without it on
