I'd be really grateful for some ideas on how we can help our DD sleep better. She has just turned 3 and has always woken up a few times each night but generally settles down easily. However, recently she is waking every half hour or so between 11 and 4. She initially goes to sleep fine (bedtime around half 7) but then all hell breaks lose around the same time every night! She cries, kicks her legs, gets out of bed and generally refuses to sleep. Sometimes she appears 'asleep' whilst doing this, other times she is wide awake. This carries on until around 4am.
We have a good, consistent bed time routine and have tried all of the usual methods of trying to comfort, putting her back to bed but not engaging with her, calm environment etc but nothing works.
Please help!!
