Ds always always wakes at 5, no matter when he goes to bed or when he has dream feed - and its destroying me. I've tried going in, giving him a cuddle and putting him back down as I would if it was 2, giving him his bottle, and just leaving him, giving him toys but NOTHING seems to work.

He doesnt cry straight away, just makes a really annoying repetetive noise - a bit like that Little Britain woman . Sometimes he will go back to sleep but its only ever for 20 minutes.. The stupid thing is that by 8 he is worn out again

Has anyone got any miracle cures before the bags under my eyes take over my entire face? Please?

Mine did this - I'm afraid ~I decided that there was nothing I could do about it, and just started my day with them and had a nap myself when they did later. It does change when they get more physically active - but I found that it was better for me mot to fight it and just be an early riser too. Sorry if that's not what you want to hear - but sometimes I think it's best and less stressful all round to go with the flow. Sorry

GMM If I'd known you were up I'd have made you a virtual cup of tea!

E woke up 4 times last night for a feed and ds2 twice

I think we are on course for a bit of controlled crying here. I have avoided it until now but we NEED sleep now! I did with the other two but have been much more precious about ds3

On mornings like this I wonder how am going to get through the day - esp as he is already firmly attached to my leg!
