2yo dropping nap

DD has just turned two and for a long time has been in a routine of having a post-lunch nap. At one point the nap could be 3 hours but more recently it's been anything from 30 mins to 1.5 hours. She's always been pretty good at managing of for some reason we have to skip the nap and has made it to the end of the day without any major meltdowns etc.

Over Christmas she skipped her nap quite a few times due to changes in routine etc and we found that she went to sleep much quicker in the evenings on these days. We've now started to drop her daytime nap and just have some quiet time in front of the TV after lunch instead.

It seems to be working ok but I just worry that she's a bit young to drop her nap. She still gets plenty of sleep - usually 12-13 hours at night, sometimes even 14. Is this ok or should we keep going with the nap?

Both mine dropped theirs at 18 months - not my choice!
If she's managing without, I don't think there's much you can do about it.

If she's coping she's fine, she can still nap if you have a busy week and she needs it.

Mine dropped his nap at 18 months old. I was not ready for this so we had quiet time in front of Cbeebies with him on my lap as I dozed. He's 12 now and still doesn't sleep as much as the books say and he doesn't seem to have suffered.
