Anyone been successful sleep training baby with NO cry it out

Can Anyone guide me to some successful interventions to sleep train with no cry it out.

I will not do cry it out or controlled crying

Baby is 6 months

Yep. But we started earlier (3/4 months). We simply put baby in his crib when it was nap or bedtime, sat with him if he grizzled, and picked him up and calmed him if he got upset. No leaving him crying in his bed, although we did leave him or just sit with him if he simply grizzled. Took a long time, but he slowly but surely got the idea. At 6 months, he now goes down independently every time.

Yes, with DTs we did what would now probably be called gradual retreat, they were quite a bit older though, almost one.

Yes, great success with The No Cry Sleep Solution at 7-8 months old. Night weaned and sleeping 12 hours by 9 months.
